Will Wade and his LSU basketball program have picked up another guard for their 2026-27 roster.
Kansas State transfer guard Abdi Basjir Jr. has committed to the Tigers.
Bashir who stands at 6-foot-7 finished last season averaging 13.2 points per game and shot 44.4 percent from behind the arc.
He missed the last 14 games of the season due to an foot injury that required surgery.
He has one year of eligibilty remaining.
According to his Kansas State bio, Bashir was born in Minnesota and raised in Omaha, Neb., to Somali parents. His mother was a refugee who escaped the turmoil in Somalia.
Bashir prepped at PHHoenix Prep in Arizona before spending his first two seasons of college at Monmouth.
